2010 Family History Conference Date Announced
The 2010 Family History Conference will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the LDS Chapel located on Airport Road in Charlottesville. This year we are encouraging more community participation. If you are interested in being a presenter or volunteering in another way, please contact us at info@charlottesville-fhc.org. The format will remain the same with a keynote speaker and approximately 25 classes covering genealogy and family history topics. There will also be a display of family history related memorbilia.
The Family History Conference is sponsored by the Waynesboro Virginia Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Charlottesville LDS Family History Center located on Airport Road, and the Central Virginia Genealogy Association.
Last year’s conference drew 354 attendees from as far away as Pennsylvannia, North and South Carolina, and throughout Virginia. Conference attendance for 2010 is expected to approach 500. More information will be provided by mid-January, but please place this date on your calendar. Also, let your friends know about the conference.
Best wishes for the New Year.
